Good Customer Service = Great Customer Feedback

We try not to make a habit of blowing our own trumpet but sometimes you receive positive customer feedback which puts a smile on your face and makes you proud of your team.

We’re not even halfway through the working week and already we have received a selection of feedback that makes all the hard work seem worthwhile.

One happy customer sent us an email which reads:

I phoned your company yesterday lunch time regarding a problem and I wanted to provide some feedback.

When phoning the Bristol number, our call was automatically re-routed to another of your offices where your member of staff listened to our problem and then said she would e-mail the Bristol Office and we would then receive a call.

Within a short while Bristol office called and having listened to my description advised that a driver, being an expert, would call and discuss the issue as soon as he was free.

Sure enough the driver called and, after a short conversation, agreed he would need to visit to deal with the problem.

An hour and a half later he arrived and dealt with what could have turned into a serious problem for us quickly and efficiently.

My entire experience of dealing with your staff at all locations and the driver was outstanding. What came through was that each was efficient but not brusque, each listened to what I had to say, responded to it, treated me as a customer and not a number and when they said someone would call, they did. For all this to have happened in one day was brilliant and unfortunately such service and meeting expectations is seldom seen these days.

Best of all was that each staff member had a smile in their voice….you can tell when people are positive… does come through, even over the phone.

A different customer called into our Botley depot:

She was over the moon with the quick reaction from Hayley and the fantastic work done by our driver, Dave.  She said he was lovely and did a great job and she would be using us for all her jobs in the future, and if we sold bananas she would buy them from us too!

And finally, we received a letter from a customer which reads:

I should like to express our appreciation of your Operator, Mick.  He has emptied our septic tank for quite a number of years and has always been obliging, cheerful, friendly and efficient and in general a delight to have on the premises.  He is certainly one of the main reasons your competitors – from whom we hear from time to time – have so far had little chance of displacing you!

It’s comforting to know that even in today’s fast-moving and often hectic world, people can still take a moment to stop and show appreciation for a job well done…..
